UX Copywriter

Industry: Fortune 500 Telecom Company

Location: Philadelphia, PA (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Duration: contract until 12/31/25

Pay rate: $36-$41/hr

Overview:

The UX Content team carefully scrutinize and contemplate every word our customers interact with on their TV screens and apps – and then we craft new solutions to make those products and services even better for them. From transforming the future of video content across TV, consoles, mobile and web, to launching innovative new TV and app products globally, we place the customer experience at the heart of every copy decision we make.

This role will focus on elevating the user journeys of our app experience by creating engaging copy which meets both customer and business needs. Blending existing Content Design System patterns, industry best practices and user research, strong writing and attention to detail skills are a must for this role.

Job Description:

• From discovery phase through to delivery, you’ll develop inclusive and accessible UX copy solutions, working closely alongside global Design, Product and Dev teams as you do
• Work with copy team to support production of UX copy, internal communications, and other pieces as needed in support of design, development, SEO, and marketing and communications teams
• Demonstrate an ability to come up with innovative ideas, solve problems creatively and shape these into clear, inclusive and meaningful copy solutions that center around customer needs
• The need to constantly evolve or create new customer experiences will always be at the forefront of everything you do, and with the support of the UX Content team you’ll continuously learn and develop your skills to make this happen
• You will have a deep understanding of the UX tone of voice and implement this globally, localizing for territories where necessary
• You’ll help the team champion our work and the value of UX content across the wider business, plus contribute to keeping the Content Design System and style guide up to date
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date copy files; track messaging feedback (from stakeholders and legal reviewers)
• Produce concepts and copy that are inspired, fresh and engaging.

Requirements:

• Copywriting experience in an agency or UX team setting or equivalent professional or amateur writing experience
• A portfolio of work, including live samples, and the ability to present it well
• Expert knowledge of the English language and ability to self-edit
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Agility and flexibility to adapt to changing requests in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to track jobs over time
• Working knowledge of how to carry voice across various platforms to speak to different audiences
• B.A. in English, Communications, Marketing or other related fields

The salary range for this position is $36 to $41/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
