JEAN ANN RYAN PRODUCTIONS is now accepting resumes for

Solo Musicians for Cruise Contracts.Start dates - May 2025 until November 2025 with option to extend.

Must possess Valid Current Passport

Must be Fully Vaccinated, with Booster

Must possess Valid STCW Certificates - including Crowd Management and Security Awareness.

Must have Valid Seafarer Medical or an ENG-1 or ability to complete a medical exam.

Must have Yellow Fever Vaccination.

Must be fluent in English and able to pass a language test.

Must have Valid Seaman's Discharge / Record Book.

Must be able to submit demo reels / links to previous performance work.

GERMAN LANGUAGE SKILLS are suggested for this position

EXPECTATIONS:

This position could be a Solo Guitarist, Violinist, Horn player, etc.

To provide live music and vocals in various venues as assigned from onboard Management.To entertain nightly at The Ocean Bar, The Blue Room, Captain' Club, the Lido Deck, etc.

Ability to create engaging atmosphere, theme evenings, etc:

Have a large diverse repertoire;

Not just playing along with backing tracks - but a real player and singer;

An individual that can ‘own the room’;Responsible for creating engaging musical sets for a predominantly German Audience in various ship venues.

Must be able to take requests and create a positive atmosphere with the guests.

Deliver rehearsed and ‘on-time’performances for these public rooms on board the Vessel.

Ideal candidates should also be able to present a formal classical / crossover solo concert on the mainstage theatre if needed.

Euro week fee is paid monthly via Wire Transfer.
