Our boutique PR agency client is seeking an experienced Account Manager with product communications experience in the B2B tech space to join its global team in New York. If you share our enthusiasm for cutting-edge companies in sectors like AI, fintech, sustainability, web3, and B2B enterprise then we’d love to hear from you.

In this hands-on role, you'll manage daily account operations, develop creative strategies, oversee task management, and delegate responsibilities to junior team members. Strong communication and industry experience is essential.

Account Manager (B2B Tech) Key Responsibilities:

• Work across 4 - 5 B2B tech supporting strategy development and execution.
• Foster relationships with clients.
• Secure media coverage across top-tier national and trade outlets such as Bloomberg, Fortune, Wall Street Journal, NYT, CNN, CNBC, and TechCrunch.
• Mentor junior staff and manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Navigate competing priorities, including client relationship management, news announcements, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Draft compelling written content (i.e. press releases, white papers, op-eds, bylines, LinkedIn content, etc.)

Account Manager (B2B Tech) Requirements:

• 3+ years in public relations with agency experience.
• Experience in product communications within the B2B tech space is strongly preferred.
• Relevant industry experience and general understanding of contemporary tech topics (B2B Enterprise, AI, Deeptech, Fintech, Future of Work, Venture Capital, Web3, sustainability, etc.)
• Track record of brainstorming creative ideas and campaigns for B2B tech clients (press releases and trade shows are nice but can you get more creative than that?)
• Familiarity with the tech media landscape and current industry trends.
• Strong writing and communication skills (please make sure you resume does not have any typos or grammatical errors!)
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn.

LOCATION: hybrid role with all employees required to be in the firm's NYC office weekly 3 days/week. Fully remote candidate, those requiring relocation, or who cannot satisfy this full requirement will not be considered.

ANNUAL SALARY : $75,000 - $83,000 base salary with discretionary 12 - 16% bonus based on individual performance
