UX/UI Designer (Mobile App Design, Flutter)

Job Title: UX/UI Designer
Location: San Antonio, TX, or Remote. Must be available during CST hours.
Job Type: Contract with potential to hire

 

Kaeppel Consulting is seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to work for a client in San Antonio, TX.  Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of mobile applications from concept to completion, ensuring a seamless user experience across mobile and desktop applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to define and refine app requirements.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that reflect user needs and business goals.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.
  • Stay updated on mobile design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, particularly within the Flutter ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong focus on mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and experience with Flutter for UI development.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your mobile app design process and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
