As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and results-oriented Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to build our marketing capabilities within HubSpot, oversee Marketing analytics and campaign deployment and level up our ability to understand the impact of multi-channel campaigns across multiple go-to-market motions.

The Role:

The Senior Manager of Marketing Operations will oversee the seamless execution of marketing initiatives by managing and optimizing our marketing technology stack, with a special emphasis on HubSpot. This role will be responsible for the structure and deployment of email campaigns, the creation and execution of marketing workflows, and the measurement of campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have a data-driven mindset, expert-level HubSpot proficiency, and the ability to ensure marketing activities are aligned with strategic goals. You’ll serve as the expert and authority on MarTech, constantly helping us to level up our MQL quality and conversion performance to closed-won deals. You’ll manage a team composed of an email specialist and a marketing analyst and be a working manager, with the primary goal of enabling deployment and measurement across all channels.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, etc.) to streamline operations, improve lead conversion, and drive continuous improvement in our marketing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

HubSpot Mastery & Marketing Automation:

  • HubSpot Management : Lead the setup, configuration, and optimization of HubSpot, ensuring that the platform is fully leveraged for lead management, marketing automation, email campaigns, workflows, and reporting and that all systems are properly integrated based on the GTM strategy.
  • Campaign Execution : Build, execute, and optimize HubSpot-based marketing campaigns (email, workflows, lead nurturing, etc.) to drive engagement and lead conversions across various marketing channels.
  • Automation Workflows : Create and manage automated email workflows, drip campaigns, and lead nurturing sequences designed to move leads through the funnel and increase conversion rates.
  • Lead Scoring & Segmentation : Develop and refine lead scoring models in HubSpot to help the sales team prioritize high-value prospects. Ensure proper segmentation strategies are in place for targeted email and campaign initiatives.
  • Data Reliability and Compliance: Create SOP’s (standard operating procedures) to ensure data is clean, reliable and actionable and that all relevant compliance is in place. This includes Opt-in/Opt-out, regulatory requirements, etc.

Email Marketing & Campaign Structuring:

  • Email Campaign Development : Lead the creation and deployment of email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, personalization, and optimization for improved deliverability, open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion.
  • Campaign Structuring : Work with the marketing and content teams to structure campaigns in a way that maximizes effectiveness. Ensure that campaigns are integrated with broader marketing and sales initiatives for seamless execution.
  • Performance Optimization : Continuously optimize email content, subject lines, visuals, and calls to action (CTAs) based on performance data and industry best practices.

Marketing Analytics & Reporting:

  • Campaign Measurement : Design and implement comprehensive tracking for all marketing campaigns, ensuring metrics such as traffic, leads, MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads), SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads), conversions, and ROI are accurately tracked and reported.
  • Data-Driven Insights : Analyze marketing data from HubSpot, Google Analytics, and other tools to assess campaign performance and recommend actionable insights for optimization.
  • Reporting & Dashboards : Build and maintain custom dashboards and reports within HubSpot and other analytics platforms to provide leadership with real-time performance data and insights on key marketing metrics.
  • KPIs & ROI Tracking : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for campaigns. Regularly report on marketing activities' ROI and make recommendations to optimize marketing spend.

Process Optimization & Collaboration:

  • Process Streamlining : Work with cross-functional teams (sales, product, content, etc.) to identify bottlenecks in the marketing funnel and streamline operations for better efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Campaign QA & Quality Control : Ensure all marketing materials, emails, workflows, and landing pages meet quality standards, are free of errors, and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with the sales and product teams to ensure seamless lead handoff, alignment on lead definitions, and ongoing communication around marketing’s performance and optimization opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience : 6+ years of experience in marketing operations, with a strong focus on HubSpot, marketing automation, email marketing, and campaign analytics.
  • HubSpot Expertise : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with HubSpot, including workflows, email marketing, landing pages, CRM integration, lead scoring, and reporting.
  • Prior experience leading small teams or managing 1-2 people required.
  • Email Marketing : Proven track record of planning, executing, and optimizing email campaigns, with a deep understanding of A/B testing, segmentation, and best practices.
  • Data-Driven : Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing analytics, reporting, and deriving actionable insights from data to optimize campaign performance.
  • Marketing Automation : Expertise in building and optimizing lead nurturing workflows, lead scoring models, and automated campaigns to drive conversions.
  • CRM & Analytics Tools : Strong experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), Google Analytics, and reporting tools. 
  • Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaboration : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams (sales, content, product, etc.) to achieve marketing goals.

Educatio:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (certifications in HubSpot, Google Analytics, or other relevant areas are a plus).
