Pay: Starting at $75,000 annually

Experience:

• 5 years of purchasing experience is required.
• Experience in working in an ERP/MRP environment.

Education: Associate degree in business or supply chain-related field.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Greene Resources is seeking a Senior Buyer to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Process purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers, and track deliveries to ensure supplier quality.
• Analyze inventory levels and forecasts to meet sales and manufacturing demands.
• Obtain quotations, evaluate bids, and negotiate favorable pricing.
• Collaborate with suppliers to secure on-time deliveries and competitive market prices.
• Handle sensitive and classified materials with confidentiality.
• Conduct quarterly reviews with suppliers to assess performance and strengthen partnerships.
• Maintain procurement records, reports, and metrics for continuous improvement.
• Approve invoices and ensure timely and accurate processing for payment.
• Oversee HTS and USMCA compliance and manage import/export logistics.
• Prepare reports and correspondence for management and stakeholders.

Position Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and as a team leader.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Adaptable, eager to learn, and open to developing new skills.
• Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
• Able to build and maintain positive working relationships.
