COMMUNITY HOSPITALIST PEDIATRICIAN
Qualifications
•Appointment as a Clinical Faculty member for the Program of the University of California, UC Davis, School of Medicine required
•Current California MD license required
•Valid and unrestricted United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration required
•Membership in good standing of hospital's medical staff required
Responsibilities
•The incumbent provides professional clinical services within the scope of the clinical Faculty responsibilities and under the guidelines of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
•The incumbent provides supervision of medical care delivery for the organization's clinic
•The incumbent will serve as a preceptor and mentor for Resident Physicians which includes observing care provided and providing ongoing feedback
•In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for preparing and delivering teaching conferences for residents, students, staff, other faculty, and mid-levels on medical topics as needed

Job description
We offers comprehensive health care to nearly 300,000 residents in a six-county region.
