We offer weekday lunch, weekend brunch, and daily dinner service to create a friendly, chic space accessible to all. Our menu features locally sourced ingredients and rotating seasonal options with nods to New Orleans culinary roots.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Pastry Chef located in Raleigh, NC. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for daily baking, food preparation, cooking, and utilizing culinary skills to create delectable pastries, desserts, doughs, and various baked goods for our diverse menu offerings.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a dynamic pastry and dessert program that aligns with our menu and seasonal ingredients
• Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods for brunch, lunch, and dinner service
• Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to ensure menu consistency and innovation
• Manage ingredient sourcing, inventory, and ordering, maintaining cost control and minimizing waste
• Uphold kitchen organization, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in pastry techniques and best practices
• Stay ahead of culinary trends and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pastry experience in a restaurant or bakery setting.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, plated desserts, and scratch baking
• Passion for high-quality ingredients, seasonal flavors, and creative presentation
• Excellent time management and organization skills in a fast-paced kitchen
• Ability to collaborate with a team while also working independently
• Experience with inventory management and cost control is a plus
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and peak service hours
• Strong attention to detail and passion for creating high-quality pastries
• A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
