Organized Life/Home Mentor and Coach needed in Nashville, TN Starting Feb!

Position: Life/Home Mentor Coach

Location: Nashville, TN

Schedule: Flexible depending on the right candidate's needs, Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (30-40 hours/week)

Compensation: $30-$40+/hour DOE

A busy and loving family of six is seeking a compassionate and organized Life/Home Mentor Coach to provide guidance, encouragement, and hands-on support as they adjust to a new home and balance the demands of work, parenting, and household management. This is a temporary role with a guaranteed 4-month commitment, with the potential to extend for an additional 2-4 months.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone with a caring and empathetic personality—perhaps with a background in social work, coaching, or family support—who can mentor and guide the stay-at-home mom as she builds confidence and skills in managing a busy household.

The family’s four children, ages 9-4 years old, are now all in school part-time or full-time, creating an opportunity to implement sustainable routines and organizational systems. The family has a dog, so candidates must be comfortable in a pet-friendly home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching and Mentoring:
    • Provide supportive guidance to help the mom identify and implement systems that work for her family.
    • Encourage confidence and a positive outlook as she navigates her role.
  • Time Management and Organization:
    • Help create and maintain schedules and calendars for family activities, school, and appointments.
    • Assist with setting up household organization methods that are practical and easy to maintain.
  • Household Support:
    • Offer advice on meal planning, decluttering, and setting up routines for school mornings, after-school activities, and evenings.
    • Provide household support as needed (e.g., organizing spaces or setting up systems).
  • Encouragement and Collaboration:
    • Act as a sounding board for challenges and celebrate progress.
    • Work closely with the family to develop solutions tailored to their unique dynamics.

Qualifications

  • A warm, empathetic personality with excellent listening and communication skills.
  • A background in social work, life coaching, household management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to create and implement practical systems.
  • Experience working with families and children is highly valued.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic household.
  • Comfortable working in a home with a dog.
  • Background check upon contingent offer of hire

Schedule and Compensation

  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, possibly 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with flexibility based on the candidate’s preferences.
  • Pay: $30-$40/hour, depending on experience.

If you have a caring nature, a knack for organization, and the desire to make a meaningful difference in the life of a busy family, we would love to hear from you!
