Who They're Looking For:

• Experience in Excess and Specialty Lines (E&S): 3-5 years of underwriting experience and proven track record within the E&S sector.

• Expertise in Liability and Property: Strong background in underwriting liability and property insurance, including professional lines.
• Innovative Underwriting Skills: Ability to develop and implement creative underwriting solutions.
• Leadership and Initiative: Ability to take charge and drive new business production, functioning effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Team Collaboration: Strong team player who can work effectively with a diverse group of over 80 professionals.

What You'll Do:

• Evaluate New Business Applications: Assess and analyze new business applications to determine risk and eligibility.
• Develop Underwriting Strategies: Create and implement effective underwriting strategies to attract and retain profitable business.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for liability, property, and professional lines to ensure accurate pricing and coverage.
• Market Research: Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.
