Marketing Assistant – Butler & Hermitage Branches

Top Tier Federal Credit Union, one of Pennsylvania’s leading credit unions, has an opening for a Marketing Assistant for our Butler Branch and soon to be Hermitage Branch. The Marketing Assistant will work mainly out of our Butler Branch located at 170 New Castle Road, Butler, PA 16001.

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for the ongoing promotion and outreach of our growing organization. We are looking for someone that is a motivated go-getter who enjoys engaging with members of the Credit Union as well as members of the community. Tasks and schedule may change frequently. Travel is required. Marketing or Communications degree is preferred. High school diploma or GED required.

Starting Salary : $42,000 annually + Generous Incentives. Wage increase commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communications
• Have experience in sales, marketing and/or banking
• Have social media and content creation experience
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be highly organized, with keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, WordPress, social media, Google and Canva
• Have experience with data analytics
• Have a driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Be able to lift and transport 10-15 pounds
• Value collaboration and is eager to contribute to a team culture

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Conducting business outreach and promotion to prospect and advance community relationships for Butler and Hermitage locations
• Scheduling and organizing Credit Union events
• Maintaining a professional manner and dress while representing the Credit Union
• Creating presentations and marketing material
• Social media management
• Maintaining knowledge of the Credit Union’s products, services and promotions
• Assisting with internal event planning, marketing inventory management and other projects as needed.
• Participating in team meetings and learning opportunities to stay aligned with goals and best practices.
• Working as a team for the betterment of the Credit Union
• Any other task required by Manager
