The Uniondale office of Cullen and Dykman LLP is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant with 3+ years of Litigation experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with drafting, editing and organizing pleadings, legal documents and discovery responses in litigation matters.
• Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones and communicating with opposing counsel and court personnel.
• Maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring accuracy and organization.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree, a plus
• At least 3+ years of tort litigation experience in a law firm preferred
• Experience with litigation procedures and processes and familiarity with State and Federal court e-filing systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Proficiency with iManage, a plus
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Superior organizational and computer skills
• Attention to details a must
• Proactiveness, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Ability to work overtime as necessary

We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and a collaborative, friendly environment. The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $75,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
