We’re looking for two skilled reporters who share our passion for telling stories about how policies, or the lack thereof, impact people’s lives.
These reporters will be based in Los Angeles and have a knack for telling uniquely Los Angeles stories for a statewide audience. We want people as passionate about accountability reporting and storytelling as they are about building coverage of America's largest county.
The ideal candidate has experience covering institutions and issues in Los Angeles. Our core coverage revolves around politics, education, environment, health, criminal justice, technology and equity.
Job responsibilities include:
Speaking multiple languages is a plus.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range for these positions is $80,000 to $100,000 per year; higher compensation may be available for someone with advanced skills and/or experience.
