Founded in 2023 Austin, Texas, Faida Foods is your portal to authentic African-inspired flavors—reimagined with a fresh, modern twist. We serve everyone from fitness fanatics and college students to busy parents and health-conscious foodies who refuse to sacrifice taste for convenience.

After securing family-and-friends angel investment last year, we’re scaling our production capacity and heading into a pre-seed round with a couple of term sheets on the table. Our mission is to make African foods and flavors more accessible to people everywhere.

Role Overview

As our Founding Growth & Revenue Lead , you will drive top-line growth by developing and executing strategic go-to-market plans. From forging key retail and digital partnerships to implementing data-driven marketing campaigns, you will be instrumental in scaling our reach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Strategy : Identify and prioritize new market segments, channels, and partnership opportunities.
  • Revenue Growth : Develop sales forecasts, set revenue targets, and build scalable processes to meet and exceed goals.
  • Brand Positioning : Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to shape a compelling brand voice.
  • Partnerships & Distribution : Cultivate relationships with retailers, e-commerce platforms, and other strategic partners.
  • Data & Insights : Implement analytics tools to track performance and inform product and marketing decisions.
  • Embody entrepreneur mindset : Step into broader roles beyond growth and revenue from operational problem-solving to fundraising support and daily challenges—to ensure Faida Foods thrives.
Requirements
  • 3+ years in growth marketing, revenue generation, or business development—ideally at an early-stage or high-growth startup (CPG or food/beverage industry is a plus).
  • Track Record of Partnerships : Experience driving distribution deals, retail relationships, and/or e-commerce expansion.
  • Data-Driven Mindset : Familiarity with analytics platforms; comfortable using KPIs and iterative testing to optimize results.
  • Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and execute revenue strategies that align with company milestones and fundraising timelines.
  • Excellent Communication : Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills; able to present data and concepts clearly.
Nice to Haves
  • Food Industry Passion : Genuine interest in African cuisine or global flavors, prior exposure to the diaspora community is a plus.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise : Hands-on experience with social media advertising, influencer marketing, or e-commerce tools (e.g., Shopify, Amazon).
  • Team Leadership : Experience building or managing small teams (interns, contractors, or junior associates).
  • Operational Insight : Familiarity with supply chain, packaging, or fulfillment processes for food products.
