We are seeking a Bilingual Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and manage health, safety, and environmental programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a safety professional with strong leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to engage a diverse workforce. Since a large portion of the workforce speaks Spanish, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication and training.

As the EHS Manager, you will collaborate with senior leadership, conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a culture of safety across the plant. This is a high-visibility role with an opportunity to influence workplace safety and employee well-being directly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the company’s health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations to ensure a zero-incident environment.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
• Provide employee training and safety communication in both English and Spanish .
• Collaborate with the Plant Manager and department heads to integrate safety initiatives into daily operations.
• Analyze safety data and implement corrective actions to improve EHS performance.
• Lead emergency response planning and manage crisis situations when needed.
• Promote employee engagement through safety committees and proactive initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science , or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing EHS programs in a manufacturing environment .
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA , and other regulatory standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM ) are a plus.
