Flagship Medical, Inc. is seeking a experienced and dedicated Client Liaison who wants to be part of a company that makes a difference in patients' lives. In this role, you will be responsible for performing all tasks and communication related to the intake of patient information concerning the service of durable medical equipment and medical supplies.

Home Medical Equipment Client Liaison

Job Responsibilities:

• Intake of patient/client medical supply orders
• Data input for new patient and existing patient medical supply orders
• Communicates with patients/clients and referral sources both verbally and in writing to ensure patient/client questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
• Demonstrate initiative and skill in troubleshooting problems and customer follow-up.
• Coordinates all patient information and processes paperwork
• Detailed & organized
• Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures to meet JCAHO and company standards
• Verifies Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage information requests

Job Requirements :

• Experience in the DME/ Medical Supply business preferred
• Preferably have, Hospice, Wound Care & Ostomy knowledge
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Employment is contingent upon a drug screening test

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen. The employee is occasionally required to walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision

Competencies:

• Strong customer service experience
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Knowledge of medical billing practices
• Knowledge of billing reimbursement
• Knowledge of insurance policies and requirements
• Knowledge of Brightree Billing Software a huge plus!
